AbstractPlanning of Strategic Programs is important in Health management for prevention, control and eradication of diseases. So, strategic programs can be used in planning of strategic plane for diseases especially recurrent and new current diseases. Rinderpest is one of the most important viral diseases. Rinderpest is a contagious disease in cow and buffalo and has eradicated in most of countries in the world such as Iran. Rinderpest is important as a recurrent disease, because of bad health situation in some countries. So, strategic plane is very useful for control and eradication of this disease. This study was performed for planning of strategic program for Rinderpest by epidemiologic and pathologic study for continuance of eradication and prevention of recurrence of the Rinderpest in Iran. In this study information was collected from different studies and analyzed by SWOT matrix. Finally, many prescriptions for continuance of the Rinderpest eradication in Iran as strategic plane, was compiled.Â
