Abstract:  The purpose of this study was to determine the cellular and biochemical parameters of synovial fluid of fetlock joint in clinically normal Iranian fat-tailed sheep. The synovial fluid samples were collected from the fetlock joint of 25 adult (3-4 years old) fat-tailed sheep (13 male and 12 female). All of the samples were pale-yellow in color and free from any particulate.Viscosity and mucin clot test in all samples were normal. No red blood cells were seen in synovial fluids of the both gender. The white blood cells in synovial fluids of female sheep were significantly highyer than male sheep (P
