Indexing of Semnan University’s Veterinary Laboratory Research journal in ISC

According to the news liaison of the Office of the Vice-Presidency for Research and Technology at Semnan University, the Vice President for Research and Technology announced the indexing of Semnan University’s Veterinary journal in ISC.

Dr. Ehsani stated that the scientific journal Veterinary Laboratory Research of Semnan University, which has been published since 2008 (1387 AH) through the efforts of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, has succeeded in being indexed in the Islamic World Science and Technology Citation and Monitoring Institute (ISC).

Regarding this achievement, Dr. Mohammad Hossein Ehsani said:
“The indexing of this journal in ISC reflects the enhancement of the university's scientific and research standing in the field of veterinary laboratory sciences and represents an important step in the development of knowledge and standards for veterinary laboratory diagnostics in the country.”

Expressing his appreciation for the efforts of the journal's staff, he added:
“This success is due to the support and precise management of the journal’s officials, including the editor-in-chief, Dr. Mohammadreza Salimi Bajestani, and the managing editor, Dr. Mahmoud Ahmadi Hamadani.”

Dr. Ehsani noted that the Veterinary Laboratory Research journal is ready to receive research articles, case reports, short communications, and review articles from all researchers in the field of veterinary medicine in order to take effective steps toward the scientific and practical advancement of this discipline.

The Chairman of the University Publications Council continued:
“This journal, with an interdisciplinary approach, professionally covers various fields of veterinary laboratory sciences, including virology, bacteriology, parasitology, mycology, pathology, clinical pathology, biotechnology, and metabolic diseases, and strives to promote comprehensive and holistic progress in disease diagnosis and treatment by bringing together related fields of knowledge.”

It is worth mentioning that the Veterinary Laboratory Research journal is published biannually, provides open and free access to the full text of all articles, and does not charge any article processing fees. Article reviews are conducted double-blind, and before submission to reviewers, similarity checks are performed using the ‘Samim Noor’ system to ensure scientific quality and originality of the works.
